If you’re currently on a hunt for a Texas Winery & Wedding Venue, make sure you include vineyards and winery into your list of wedding venues. Vineyards and winery are usually set in a location secluded from the main city. The Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa is about 1hr and 15 minutes away from San Antonio, Texas and Austin, Texas. As it sits in between two major cities, Carter Creek Winery is one of the best winery for your wedding day. This resort provides accommodations, brewery and dining, spa, and more.
This Texas winery & wedding venue provides beautiful settings to any type of wedding you can imagine. Carter Creek have multiple areas for ceremony and indoor or outdoor options for your reception. Keep scrolling down below to see the beautiful sunset at the vineyards that is perfect for your wedding portraits!
The breeze made the Texas Heat almost none existent. Granted, we were there in May in between the rainy season in Texas. What I really like about this venue, is the option for friends and family, and also guests to stay and check-in for the weekend. There’s a pool and a jacuzzi to relax into. They also have a great selection of food at the restaurant. Quite honestly, I have to say that I am pretty impressed. It would be an honor to come back and capture a wedding here again one day.
Ceremony Aisle
I would call this the main ceremony location. What I love this location for ceremonies is the long aisle for the bride to walk into. It’s a personal preference as the wedding photographer. Long aisles, gives me enough opportunity to capture the groom’s first look expression and still have enough time to capture the bride walking down the aisle. On a different scenario though, my main priority would be the bride walking down the aisle shots. In that case, a second shooter would be helpful in capturing the groom’s reaction.
MY APPROACH IS BOTH STYLED & CANDID. DURING PORTRAITS, I GUIDE MY COUPLES WITH SOME PROMPTS AND POSES THAT ARE COMFORTABLE AND NATURAL FOR THE BOTH OF THEM. FOR THE MOST PART, I STEP BACK CAPTURING MOMENTS AT THE RIGHT TIME. MY EDITING STYLE IS TRUE-TO-LIFE WITH A LITTLE BIT OF WARMTH FOCUSING ON ENHANCING THE REAL BEAUTY AND WARMTH OF THE MOMENTS, DELIVERING TIMELESS IMAGES.
My goal on your wedding day is to capture the moments in a way that tells the story of how everything unfolds. It's important for me to build a relationship with my couples and truly understand what matters most to them.
