One of the most common questions I get asked is, "How do we book you?" Here’s how we can make it official meaning your date is secured! To lock in your wedding day, I simply ask that both of you review and sign the contract, and make the deposit. Once that’s complete, I’m officially your wedding photographer!

For this session, whether it is an engagement session or a bridal session, I’ll create a mood board that reflects your vision, along with location and outfit suggestions to help bring your ideas to life. If you're dreaming of a destination session, we can absolutely travel to wherever your heart desires—the sky's the limit!
The First Session

About a month before your wedding day, we’ll meet again to go over the final details. Whether it’s with you directly or with your wedding planner, we’ll review everything to ensure we’re all on the same page. Together, we’ll be mindful of the best times to capture natural light, particularly knowing when the “golden hour” will happen on your big day.

1. We feel awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?
Absolutely! Most of my couples say this at first. I give gentle, natural direction so you never feel stiff or overly posed. My goal is for you to feel comfortable enough to simply be yourselves.
2. Do you help with the wedding day timeline?
Yes. While I always work hand in hand with your wedding planner, I guide you through photography timeline planning from start to finish so your day flows naturally and never feels rushed. Photography shapes more of your schedule than most couples expect, and I make sure there’s space for both genuine, candid moments and timeless portraits.
3. Do you travel for weddings?
Yes! I accept a select number of destination weddings each year. Traveling for love stories in beautiful places is something I truly cherish, and I’d be honored to hear more about your plans.
4. What happens if you get sick or can’t make it?
In the unlikely event of serious illness or emergency, I have a trusted network of professionals ready to step in. I remain involved and personally edit your gallery to ensure it reflects my style. I also work with qualified
second photographers who are capable of leading if needed, so your day is never left uncovered.
5. What if family dynamics are complicated?
I approach every wedding with discretion, kindness, and emotional awareness. If there are sensitive family situations, I simply ask that you communicate them with me beforehand. I’ll handle portraits efficiently and respectfully so everyone feels comfortable.
6. Are we just another wedding to you?
Absolutely not! I intentionally accept a limited number of weddings each year so I can be fully present for every couple I serve. Your story deserves attention, care, and intention.
7. What if it rains?
Some of the most beautiful, romantic images happen in unexpected weather. I always have a backup plan and know how to use light creatively indoors or outdoors. Rain rarely ruins a wedding day — stress does. And I won’t let that happen.
8. Have you ever lost a client's photos?
Knock on wood, never! Every camera I shoot with has dual card slots, which means the moment I press the shutter, your photo is saved to two separate cards at the same time. After your wedding day, those SD cards stay on me until I get home and back everything up to my hard drives, which automatically sync to the cloud. By the time everything is backed up, you'll have at least four copies of your images saved in different locations. I know that sounds like a lot, but honestly? That's just how much your wedding day means to me!
