Erin & Richard began their wedding celebration by welcoming family and friends to a heartfelt dinner at the Alamo. This historic setting created such a meaningful backdrop as everyone gathered to kick off the wedding weekend.

Dressed in something blue, Richard wore a light blue shirt with a navy blue suit and pants. On the other hand, Erin completely stole the moment in her mom’s very special wedding dress. Seeing her walk in wearing it felt like witnessing a beautiful bridge between generations feeling elegant, timeless, and full of love.

As the evening unfolded, guests mingled under the warm Texas sky. Laughter filled the courtyard. Glasses clinked. Hugs were shared all around. Everyone felt the excitement for their wedding the next day. When dinner turned into toasts, the atmosphere became even more emotional. Friends and family shared heartfelt stories, a few tears, and a lot of joy. The love for Erin & Richard was palpable.

As everyone is gathering and mingling, my associate shooter, Megan, pulled Erin & Richard aside for a few portraits around the Alamo. The historic architecture and their quiet connection made every frame feel intentional. They held hands, smiled at each other, and paused to take in the moment.
